"The lobby is great with lots of areas for sitting, including near an electric fireplace. Also, on the first floor there is a fitness room with treadmills x 2, bicycles x 2, etc, a small pool, a restaurant. Favorite parts about the hotel: Large room, bathroom with large counter space, refrigerator mini and microwave in room on a large counter, LOCATION. The hotel location is great for the Bay Area in that there’s a free Emeryville shuttle called Emery-Go-Round which stops right outside hotel and takes you to BART station. It’s also great location because it’s surrounded by no less than 5 shopping centers, new and upscale right across the street. Movie theater, restaurants, groceries (Trader Joes), take out ( eg Togos and Chipotle, Burger King), etc. Would stay here again if in this area. The lobby staff varies from friendly and helpful to so-so. Great hotel experience all said. "

"I stayed with family for three nights. We were very happy with how well-equipped the kitchen was and how comfortable the bed linens were. It was during a huge wind and rain storm, so we didn't get to spend much time outside, though the backyard was private (shared with upstairs but enclosed) and quiet. The neighborhood was quiet and convenient. Nearby areas can be rougher, but this street seemed very peaceful. We had an issue with a shower and the host took care of it right away. "

"My girlfriends and I wanted to visit our college pals in Berkeley but really did not want to stay in a hotel. We found a home that had 3 rooms, a spacious kitchen and living room. I was impressed at how well lit and clean it was. My friends loved the modern features and amenities. Honestly, we all said we wished we could stay longer to really utilize the place we got. We could have easily cooked meals and invited our friends to visit us. The location is great too as our friends lived within 10-20 minutes and we met at the nearby shopping plaza that had a movie theater, Barnes and Noble, shops and restaurants. This place is a gem and the location is great. None of us drove and relied on walking in the day time and Lyft in the evening when we walked to watch a movie and dined at restaurants. This place also has a garage if you do have a car. There is a washer and dryer in the garage too. As mentioned, were impressed and will book again when we come back to the Bay. This place is also great for families planning to visit and explore this area. It's a quiet street and we felt safe walking around this area. "
