"This property is spotless and beautiful. It feels very secluded, but is an easy, beautiful drive into Ely. The view is incredible from everywhere in the house and this part of the Burntside Lake is sparsely populated. We were here in November so no snow and now swimming, and yet it was so peaceful and lovely. We enjoyed the sauna and the Adirondack chairs very much! "We had a wonderful time at this remote cabin. It was a great way to get away from all the worries of the world. For a place with no electricity or running water, it felt very luxurious. I would come back again. The sauna was great, and the instructions were very easy to follow. "

"The location of this property is gorgeous and the home is reasonably comfortable. If you want a multi-generational group to gather here the owners need to address window coverings, especially in the one bathroom that has a shower that does not leak through the floor into the kitchen. Having grandchildren playing on the deck, with sliding glass door viewing into the shower, is not ideal. We read the reviews and brought our own curtain to cover the window. "We brought our Girl Scout troop to stay for the weekend. Cute place, great layout. Couple of the beds were not quite what we expected (twin futons in loft) but over all it was great for the # we had. Girls loved having a room to themselves and the board games were a hit. Nice room outside for yard games and sitting by the fire. "
