"The property was awesome. We especially enjoyed the marvelous ocean view. The only negative experience was the lack of air conditioning in the bedroom and the fan was very loud, because of this, it was impossible to fully enjoy our stay. Restrictions on temperature controls was also a negative. "

Palmas del Mar is a great location with many beaches, pools, shops and restaurants within the community, as well as lots of additional amenities within Humacao proper. The property that we had originally booked had a maintenance issue shortly before our stay, so Carlos moved us to another of his properties, in Mare Sereno, which was absolutely gorgeous. "I just stayed for 2 days. I paid $350/night - I couldn't enjoy it because it was raining all the time. (But it's not their fault). Pros: location, pool, size of the apartment, balcony, cons: the apartment needs an upgrade: furniture, bed (make noises) bed sheets, bathtub, elevator was not working, the beach was full of seaweed and the tides too strong. If you are looking for luxury ...this is not the place for you."

Was very nice having a covered balcony off of kitchen/dining room that we could enjoy day or night, as well as a large terrace up the stairs. Walking distance to pool that we usually had all to ourselves. Felt very safe in apartment and it was in quiet area. The host was extremely responsive and helpful during our stay.
