"Online check-in was a great option and the staff welcomed us very efficiently."

"Great for a one night stay but be warned. You have to pay £10 to park your car overnight although I got mine for free due to my Hotels.com membership. Room was very comfortable and had everything we needed. There was a Mini fridge, hairdryer, iron and ironing board and the towels were nice and fluffy (some things you don’t always get). Only complaint was that the heated towel rail in the bathroom was rusty and I couldn’t work out how to turn it on. Would definitely recommend "

"The Keelman is in a lovely spot by the Tyne. The room was spacious, clean and comfortable. The refreshments were great and very well received after a long walk! Food at the pub was also very nice. "

"Hotel expensive for what it offers unless you play golf. Beakfast good but eratic service. Keeps good but expensive. Emerald restaurant excellent. Room very pleasant but towel rtail didnt work so had to keep getting new towels. "

"Good size room, very comfortable bed, plenty of towels supplied. Good choice of drinks, biscuits and fresh fruit for the guests in the room. We ate in the restaurant and has a wonderful meal and a delicious breakfast each morning"
