The house is starting to show some wear and tear though, and could use some TLC (for example: fraying carpet in the basement, wall dings & scratches in all bedrooms & basement, water rings on the ceiling in a few places, super-loud blower on upstairs gas fireplace). "As very active, well traveled 60 year olds wanting to "check out" and relax, this was so perfect! Coffee on the screened in porch and by the fireside in the tree house throughout the day was perfect. The soothing sounds of the creek and easy hike from the property to the lake were fun. Walking in the sparsely populated neighborhood yielded beautiful woods and some mountain views. Lots of nearby towns to explore - including the Big Food museum for bragging rights to grand kids. We hope to go...

"My family enjoyed this cozy cabin. The deer visited us at least twice a deer for apples! We fed them from hand and it was a lovely experience. The fireplace at night and waterfall during the day were fabulous too! We enjoyed the lights in the backyard trees at nighttime. We would definitely return. The owners are easy to communicate with and very friendly people."
