"We were at Beech Mountain fora weekend wedding & made a short vacation by bringing our 15 yr old dog. We went on long walks and found local restaurants to be very good! We loved the privacy because I had 100 family members in town for a wedding. Only gave location a 4 because of the winding roads to and from town. We are seniors and managed them fine, Would return in summer or winter .Highly recommend!"

"We had a great Labor Day weekend. Got in Friday and headed to Boone for the app game Saturday then relaxed through Monday. The kids loved the pool area and the friendly deer that came by the back porch. There were other negative reviews about the AC units being too big by that is honestly being picky as we stayed in a unit with no AC last year and it was miserable. The two floor units kept the space so comfortable. The place was clean and very well decorated. Would love to stay again. "

The decor was very mountainy, the kitchen was well stocked, the furniture and beds were comfortable, and the linens and towels were appropriate. My caution to future renters: the outside decks and interior open staircase are a danger for kids (probably under age 8) and dogs. Do your homework and really study the 3d tour"

"We had a wonderful stay at this charming 2-bedroom, 1-bathroom condo! The space was clean, well-maintained, and perfect for our family mountain vacation. The kitchen was fully equipped, making it easy for guests to cook meals if they desired (tho we enjoyed the many local restaurants) and the living room provided a cozy spot to relax after a day of exploring. We especially loved the balcony, where we enjoyed our mornings with a beautiful view of the wildlife. The location was convenient, close...

"This house is so nice! We loved sitting on the deck and listening to the river flow by. It was so peaceful and just what we needed. The house was very clean and well maintained. It was well stocked with everything we needed for the weekend. We did lots of fishing and town is minutes away with lots of great food to try.We will definitely be staying again. "The house was in an amazing location and there were plenty of attractions within a short drive of the house. John was the most helpful host we have ever worked with, he was easily accessible the entire weekend and called to welcome us upon arrival. The house was great for our large group with amazing features - a favorite of ours was the piano! We definitely recommend this house!"
