"This property is UNSUITABLE for pilgrims, despite its close proximity to the Camino del Norte. There were no washing or drying facilities for clothes beyond ones ability to improvise in the bathroom. The owner was uncontactable and did not respond to my WhatsApp message written in Spanish. They did not have a stamp for my Credencial del Peregrino to record my stay, a necessity to prove having walked the route. There were no cooking facilities beyond a microwave and the restaurant at the hotel...

"It was deep in snow when we arrived and my husband didn’t believe the sat nav so we were lost, we called the hotel and the owner actually got in his car in the snow and came and found us knowing we had an English number plate, well impressed! Great night stop over with a dog traveling to Andorra skiing."

"Casa Pikua was right on the Camino. A sudden rain shower hit 2 miles before we arrived. We were able to dump our clothes in the spacious room and go to the bar and get dinner and drinks. Beautiful view from the room and dining area."

"Bonita casa rural con vistas a la campiña y al mar. A unos 10 mins en coche de Mutriku, tiene un sendero muy agradable que baja hasta el pueblo (unos 25 mins a pie). Nos alojamos en falta de un apartamento funcional bien equipado en general y con las camas cada mañana hechas como si fuera una habitación de hotel. Advertimos algunas carencias en cuanto a menaje -falta de cafetera, exprimidor, vasos- que parcialmente fueron resueltas. Propietario muy agradable. Hay mosquitos en la zona, pero...

"We loved the old school building renovated with an eye for detail and all modern comfort. The location is great, half an hour's walk from the beach. Lekeitio is a pleasant town. A wonderful base to get to know the Basque nature and culture. Anne and Kerman are very hospitable and were always available if necessary. We enjoyed our moments together...their stories and hospitality !!"

"We stayed in Casa Molino for 12 days and found it to be extremely relaxing and comfortable. Juan Carlos and his family are incredibly kind and helpful, and really went out of their way to ensure we were taken care of. The apartment is the top two floors of a duplex, and is filled with delightful quirky touches that give it a lot of personality."

"We chose this as a mid spot to access San Sebatian and Bilbao which it was good for. Lots of space but there was no wifi which came as quite a surprise. You really need a car to get anything or go anywhere. The train is right there but very long rides. Lots of windows but had to have all the blinds shut for privacy. Kitchen was missing a few important things but host was quick to help."
