"Location is great. Facilities are great. Front desk great. Felt that hot water did not last sufficiently long for a family of 4. Had golf cart parked on our parking space and when we tried driving around it to get to our unit we scratched car on the hedges which is unfortunate as it is a rental car. Some issues with bugs getting into the house which we had to remove as one of the members in our family was bug phobic. "

"We loved the house. It is perfect for two friends. An upstairs and and a downstairs apartment. Both cozy and the basics. We loved climbing the spiral staircase to get to the third floor. There is a porch swing with gorgeous views of the lake and the volcano. Easily walk to several local places to eat and mini-market. Loved it here."

"The house was bigger and nicer than I expected. The view is incredible! So fun spotting coatimundis and hummingbirds even from inside the house through the big windows all around. Raul was the most helpful and friendly host - he even pulled our car out of a ditch! Lillian's dinner was from heaven - perfect meal for our family after arriving from a long day of travel. "Our family had a great time in La Fortuna! The check in process was straightforward and Karen was very responsive anytime we needed to contact her. We had a little issue with the safe and Karen arrived within the hour to give us the key and resolve the issue. The air conditioning worked well, beds were comfortable, and the kitchen was as described. Thank you for a lovely stay!"

"I was pleasantly surprised by how this gem is tucked away behind the hotel. You are close-by to help if you need, but you are still far enough to get your full privacy. It’s quite a romantic hideaway. I’d say it suitable for a couple or a small family (due to the sleeping arrangements). The shower pressure is remarkable but the size of the shower is outstanding-biggest shower I’ve ever seen. The tree branches will sway back and forth against the windows, which creates this peace and tranquility...

"Our little family of 3 loved staying here! The hosts were friendly and helpful showing us around the property right upon arrival. The area surrounding the property has so much to do - within 10 minutes you can see sloths, toucans, owls, lizards, iguanas and many different species of birds. The home was clean and well stocked with kitchen supplies, towels and plenty of space to relax and cook or eat a meal. We had an amazing stay! "

"The property was very clean! Anything questions we had were answered very quickly through WhatsApp. It was nice to know the owners are very attentive to your needs! It has everything we needed! It is about 10 minutes from town, but once you get used to the drive it gets easier. The road felt safe and no animals or critters came into the house (we were worried that might happen). Highly recommend this cute little place! "

"This property was a distance from La Fortuna and other points of interest. That was what I was looking for. In Santa Ana, constant construction noises have been disrupting my peace. This place was beautiful and remote. Some mold in the bathroom, and my bed had some weird fibers at the foot of the bed between the sheets., so I was a bit creeped out . But it is the jungle, and there were critters and crawlers everywhere. Pool and hammock chairs were great. I would come back, and bring more people...
