There is a nice upper porch with chairs although they are right in front of other rooms so you could be disturbing others if you are out there. Staff carried my luggage up the steps. "I am leaving all 5 star rating because this property was by far the most affordable place we stayed in during our one month trip to Belize! The pool is fantastic and warm and the food options are delicious and reasonably priced. Our cabin was not fancy but it had all necessities and was clean. This is not a fancy resort but was great value, especially with the fridge and microwave. The reception staff was super friendly! "

Great for the few days we had in San Ignacio.

"For the budget, this place was excellent. The rooms were clean, showers were hot and powerful, the grounds were pretty and included both a pool and a pond with pretty trees. The Drift Inn isn’t the Four Seasons but it is a good place to spend a few days. HINT: get a pina colada at the pool bar - they’re delicious."
