"This apartment was probably very nice at one point. The walls are very beat up, the carpet is disgusting, and who ever cleans it, does the bare minimum. There were little hairs all over the place and the closet was full of dust. The baseboards have not been cleaned in a very long time. If you are tall I would not recommend the penthouse apartment, there are many low points in the ceiling where you will hit your head. "This is a very unique stay with a nice history. It almost feels like you are a lighthouse keeper. It is a former bridge operator tower. The bathroom and shower are at the bottom of the structure, so just know you will walk up and down steps so be in average or above average shape. The privacy is there, but you have to draw large pink curtains. Overall it was clean, but not the cleanest. It was very safe and the location is perfect for walking to Centraal Station or the city center in 10mins....

"What an awesome accommodation for my last few nights in Amstedam. The unit has everything you need, and is close to the tram line to Centraal Station. It also has an amazing shower and was beautifully climate controlled for the warm days. You do get some tram noise in the morning, but your hosts will graciously provide you were earplugs.
