"The railway carriage was a lovely place for my dog and I to call home while we visited friends in Newcastle. Great walks on the doorstep and Newcastle is deceptively easy to get to.We visited the Column to Liberty at Gibside today that we could see from our window. "The house is spotless and cosy. Everything you needed is in the house. Lots of shops nearby. The host is very helpful and response quickly if you have questions. "

"Lovely property but needs a little TLC. For instance curtain in lounge half hanging off, no lock for front bathroom door, loads of lightbulbs not working, video game not working holes in wall in bathroom and one of the bedrooms. Having said this the beds were comfortable, lots of space for 10 people and hot tub a great bonus. Nothing to spoil the holiday but just a few niggles."

Good woods at the back of the property to walk and explore too! Perfect if you're wanting to head into Newcastle city centre and many of the local beaches.
