I took this photo last year at Sal Del Rey. It was about a mile long walk to get to this location but I think it was worth it. The walk back was more challenging though as it got dark very quickly and we weren't prepared lol. birding the area

"we stayed in a suite after traveling on the road for days. It was nice to spread out in a 2 room suite. Clean,, comfortable beds. The fridge is small but it did it's job. we did not pay extra for breakfast. We ate at Black Bear diner next door. HEB store a block away and easy walk had food we ate too"
