"Parking a dream, doors to the rooms could be a little easier to closer rather than waking the entire hall way. Meals were excellent, nice and warm"

"What a beautiful building. The service was a little ponderous but really friendly. The food was very good. The rooms were clean but could do with a good spruce up. Having said that the price of £65 per room per night made it very good value. Would definitely go again"

"Hotel was a great location and the bar was great. Breakfast was nice but the full English could be bigger, you get one of everything, 1 egg, 1 hash brown etc… What let the hotel down for us was the cleanliness of the room. The bathroom was dated and unclean, the shower needed a good scrub and the kettle, coffee machine etc in the room were covered in dust. "A nice stay when in the area. The food is good, as are the team. I did hear some locals moaning about both, however that isn't my experience at all. The rooms are good, I had a different room this time and it's probably due for some tlc, however it was serviceable and the bed was comfy etc. The Bowl has a nice feel in a lovely location - it was a stunning evening to sit outside and dine whilst reading a book - with the bell ringing practise starting in the evening. "

"After searching for a reasonable rate to explore the Cotswolds we found The Priory. Good location to explore to south Cotswolds, excellent greeting, Very friendly and attentive staff, clean room comfy bed, bathroom was small but big enough, dinner was excellent the food was freshly cooked and well presented, staff very thoughtful and attentive, breakfast was cooked to order and superb, highly recommend a stay here. If you are looking for a quieter room ask for room 10!"

"Perfect central location with complimentary parking. We stayed in the deluxe room with the bath which was lovely and spacious over two floors. It was modern, high-end finishes, clean and well equipped with cups, glasses, plates, bowls, cutlery, Smeg fridge, kettle and a Nespresso machine. "Everything we expected and more,staff very helpful room had all we wanted,except the loop i found myself in trying to set up an account to get wifi log in ,however it didnt detract from our stay of one night.Very clean,breakfast was very good with a great choice,will be back again.Thanks."

"This was the third time we had stayed at the Aztec and we had a fantastic experience. I booked the stay for my wife’s birthday which included the additional access to the spa and a massage. We also booked dinner and breakfast at the restaurant. My wife has very specific dietary requirements and these were all catered for by the Aztec’s wonderful staff. A special thank you to Lucy who looked after our table for our evening meal. She had carefully picked out the dishes which my wife could eat and made suggestions. This personal touch really made our evening. Lucy also presented us with a selection of gluten free cakes after the meal as a little treat for Liz’s birthday, which we were both really taken aback by. So thank you Aztec for making it such a special weekend getaway. Lots of hotels do not pay attention to the little details - the Aztecs staff most definitely did. We will most definitely be returning."

Fantastic Christmas

"This is the third Christmas my brother and I have stayed at the Leonardo and it just gets better and better. The staff are all outstanding, nothing it too much trouble and they are all cheerful and helpful. My brother loves to swim and I love all the places I can hide away to read. We also visit at other times but Christmas is the best"

"Stayed for one night as our son was attending a swimming clinic at GL1 in Gloucester. Great to be able to check in at 2pm rather than the usual 3-4pm. Staff were friendly and efficient. Our room was spacious, very clean and had all the amenities you would need. Would definitely stay again."
