"The property was good for our group of 5 family members. We did have to leave early on the last full day as a winter storm warning was calling for 8-10 inches of snow in the mountains. We did have an AWD vehicle but the steep driveway & switchbacks were a concern for getting down the mountain safely. Temps were going to be in the single digits.also for several days. Nice rental, just keep an eye on the weather."

"Johnny is an amazing host. The chalet is quaint, but accommodating. The price is right, and allowed us to experience all that Gatlinburg has to offer without breaking the bank. "Our large family of 6 (mom&dad kids: 20, 13,7&7) booked spur of the moment with hopes of enjoying the snow that was predicted. We arrived late Thursday with groceries in tow. The kids slept upstairs and had plenty of room with the King and twin bed. They also enjoyed their own bathroom. My husband and I had a super comfy king size bed downstairs as well. All the linens were nice and clean and plenty of extra blankets for this super cold snap. There was a bathroom across the hall from this room...

"Cabin was nice and cozy. Very repaxing. Needs a little updating. The driveway was super steep. Our cars needed to have rocks under the tires to not slide in the ice. We treated the driveway but itcwas still hard to get in and out in the winter weather."

"This place was perfect for the three of us and our small dog. It was cozy and comfortable with everything needed. We would definitely stay here again. "

"We stayed here with our granddaughter that was visiting from Florida and our 2 other grandchildren that are both younger. It was the first time seeing snow for our beach loving granddaughter. Having all that yard to play in was wonderful!! Plus the younger 2 loved the swings and slides. The kitchen was huge and we had a fabulous family dinner with all the supplies needed to make a great, healthy dinner. Beds were super comfortable as well! We will definitely rent here again!! "
