"This place was so great! My whole SD family came for Thanksgiving dinner. There were enough places for everyone to eat. There was plenty of beds for those that stayed, and the bedding/pillows were great! The hot tub with the view was amazing. The outside and inside pictures do not do this lovely cabin justice. Perfect place! Warm and cozy. LOTS of bald eagles! Would love to come in Spring time to canoe/kayak the river. I’m from the area but needed a place for my family and I to set up base....

"The check-in process wasn’t so good. Our room wasn’t ready until after 4pm. Caused some inconvenience for me. The hotel itself is kind of awesome. It’s an old hotel. Clean, updated. It was negative temps outside and our room never got above 65 degrees no matter how high I set the room temp. Was grateful for an extra comforter. "

"The staff, especially those who prepared breakfast, were most helpful and kind. Breakfast was pretty good as far as hotel breakfasts go. I do wish our room had been a little cleaner, however, it had clearly been cleaned and there was nothing crazily unclean about it. We did have a situation with a very dirty matt in the workout area that appeared to have feces on it. Other than this, our stay was good for what we needed. "

"The staff was really nice and helpful. We were told they are going through renovations during our stay and the staff apologized. The sheets on the bed didn’t fit properly. Fitted sheet was sliding off and the flat sheet barely hung over either side the bed wasn’t made properly. The drawers for the dresser were tough to use and didn’t go in all the way. Bathroom very clean. "
