"Stayed for one night during vacation in March. Was a perfect stop on the drive along the ring road. Nice staff, easy check in, free parking, safe and clean. The rooms have lots of beds (perfect if you have a family with you), and it was super comfy. The hotel even offered to call our room if they saw the northern lights, and THEY DID! Our phone rang at 11PM to alert us so we could go outside! It was the only time we got to see them so we were so appreciative, what a kind gesture! Would stay...

"Best thing about this hotel is the aurora calling service, was able to view the aurora while our stay, love the view since it’s a lake at the back of the hotel and make it easier to take aurora photos there. Towels not so clean and housekeeping did not check the shower gel bottles as it was empty when we checked in. Staffs are helpful to give us extra bottle of shower gel to use, overall still recommend for this hotel."

"Small, but clean room. Hallways had faint sulfur smell after raining, but the room in the non-renovated building was clean and kept well. Property was overall OK- nothing specifically wrong with the room, but atmosphere was a little less cozy than other places. Room was comfortable, though, so if you’re looking for a decent stay, would recommend. "

If you have kids - request a room on the top floor - the footsteps of people overhead were loud. Luckily everyone goes to bed by 10 pm"
