"We had a perfect Christmas holiday watching the otters play and feast down by the dock. We stayed cozy up in the loft watching movies. We were able to catch sea lions frolicking and harbour seals swimming by. Even though it was rainy we were still able to check out many parks and trails we haven’t been to before. I really liked that the house was down a long driveway and away from the road. We ended our evenings in the hot tub. Sooke is only about 30 minutes away which isn’t a far drive. Iron...

"It's a very clean property to stay at. We loved the deck, and the view from the deck was amazing. It's worth the price we paid. The bathrooms were clean and tidy, and the entire unit was clean. The bedrooms were clean and cozy—a lot of parking space. I would give 9/10. I would love to visit often."

Only negative (for us in Feb) was a lack of cable TV. We were unable to watch the national news or a hockey game. We'd be interested in staying again in the future."

"We had a wonderful stay. All was as described in the listing. The house was clean, the beds and linens were comfortable and it was furnished nicely. We really enjoyed the hot tub and sauna and even did a few could plunges in the pool. The location is beautiful, surrounded by trees. The host was great with communication and left good instructions on how to use the amenities. This is definitely a home I would stay in again. "
