"Great stay, we were there of 2 nights, place was easy to get to, the hosts were sweet, very cosy place away form the the city and quiet and comforting."

"We stayed here for a work retreat so we didn't fully use all of the amenities. Nonetheless, it was a beautiful place to be.The directions were clear to get to the house. The road off the highway has barely any street lights. So when it rains, drive slower as it is really dark and somewhat windy.The house was fully stocked and then some. The hosts provided a lot of extras (especially the kitchen) that weren't in the listing so in some ways, we overpacked. Next time, we'll make sure to email...

"Great location, place was very clean and convenient for our stay as our daughter was only a 20 min drive away."

"This astonishing house sits in a huge property in the middle of the rain forest that includes its own pond and trails. Beautifully landscaped, the owners have taken care of every little detail around the house. We spent the entire fall and part of the winter at the Gong suite. The main room looks more like a presidential suite than a bedroom, and the massive windows overlooking the canopy forest are just unreal. Very nice porch and fire pit area below as well.Although too cold to swim in the...

There was high-speed Wi-Fi, a large-screen TV with cable, comfortable bedding and even an outdoor relaxing space with an amazing view. The fully equipped kitchen made meal prep easy, and the comfortable bedding ensured a restful night. Overall, I highly recommend this property for anyone looking for a cozy and convenient getaway. "

"We love staying in a quiet and safe neighbourhood to get a little view of the local culture. Shiela’s place is very very clean and has far more practical amenities than a usual rental place. She knows well what guests want. We were extremely happy and if returning to Victoria we will not hesitate to stay here again."

"We came in to Victoria for a long weekend with our family for the Victoria Marathon and had the most lovely stay. Close to the city with great parks, stores and restaurants close by. We had the best time exploring the area and our hosts were incredibly gracious and kind. The home was immaculately kept and had everything we needed and more. We will be back again! "

"The suite was as advertised, clean, comfortable and quiet."

"Fantastic one bedroom apartment with all the amenities. Very comfortable and quiet. Large patio overlooking Sooke inlet. A bouquet of garden flowers and a fresh baked loaf of bread greeted us on our arrival. The hosts paid attention to all the small details which included chocolates on the pillows. Definitely our favourite stay (out of six) on the island! "

"It was very odd. There was a random bar Of soap on the bathroom counter. I literally thought my friend had brought it. Which I thought seemed odd. Turns out she didn’t bring it. Why was this left in our room. There was a stain on my pillow. "
