"I loved all the amenities and space provided in the suite. And it was very affordable. It was like staying in an apartment. It was very clean. The bedroom wall was thin though because I could hear snoring on the other side. Pretty view of the trees in the backyard."

The host was immediately responsive but we should note that there was absolutely no cellphone service which made communicating with guests a little difficult. "

"An absolutely horrible experience! My family (2 adults and my 6 year old son) had reserved this so-called hotel for $284 in June for a 13th Aug stay. After a full day at the Berkshires, we checked-in at 6 pm. This place is in a terrible location (unpaved roads, still-in construction steps). To our horror we found that the room had No Air-Conditioning. It was 90 degrees outside and all they had in the room was a ceiling fan. There were bugs in the room due to the heat. "We had an excellent stay at Jiminy peak during the Fright nights. The mountain coaster was a blast and we loved riding the gondola up to the top of the mountain to see the leaves! We will be back next year. Our only small complaint was that our room was right next to the line for the ticket booth and the teenagers were pretty loud into the late night waiting to be spooked. It might be a good idea next year to plan for long lines of people and cone off the area to snake the line a bit better....

"Fantastic place to stay! So homey, comfortable, and peaceful. Steven was a fabulous host, and his property is wonderful - in a beautiful garden. The room is large and beyond well equipped. No reason to pay more to stay downtown Hudson. We’re on a month-long New England road trip, and this has been our favorite stay! "
