"Location: Hotel is sited close to the Cathedral and the heart of the city. The only major drawback for some might be the lack of a car park although this did not affect me as I arrived by bus with a bus stop just a few yards away from the hotel. Room: My room although a little dark was well equipped and very quiet. The bathroom has rather dated with a deep bath and a shower that had to be hand held with no shower screen or curtain. "Upon arrival, the gentleman on reception was very kind and helpful. He checked us in very quickly and gave us an option for breakfast in the morning but wasnt too pushy into buying breakfast, he was more than happy to locate the nearby Wetherspoons. The reception area was clean light. Once we arrived at our room (number 21), we were pleased with the cleanliness and the amount of room we had. The windows opened and closed freely. "Fantastic building! Perfect location. Staff are so friendly and helpful. Just some rooms are in need of a little TLC so it depends which of the rooms you stay in. The room we stayed in just needed updating but the bed was so comfortable and a very good night sleep was had!! "
