"There are only 3 pods, which protects the quiet and peaceful atmosphere. The view is exceptional and a place to truly relax. The pods offer a good standard of living space with a lovely hot shower and a really comfortable bed. The local sheep add an interesting intro to being in the countryside and lovely to watch. The pod is reached by a narrow single track road but this didn’t cause us any difficulties. The location is great for getting most places in the Dales. We will definitely be back. "

"3rd time at these cabins and they never disappoint. Lovely clean, well presented, well equipped and comfy. Hot tub is a added bonus and an ice way to spend the evening. Gemma is a friendly host and the chickens are cheeky but made us laugh. Highly recommended."

"Wonderful countryside and surprising light traffic locally. 30 minute walk on a quiet lane to the George & Dragon for good food, real ale and a delightful beer garden. Excellent Green Howards army museum and grand castle in Richmond. Hawes well worth a visit and Barnard Castle is a surprisingly large and bustling market town which has a lot going on and is a must see location. "We stayed for two weeks at The Bothy. We used it as a base to explore the Dales. We enjoyed seeing the local sights and villages. There are numerous sites to visit within one hour’s drive. Also, there are nice walks from the front door to visit Aysgarth Falls, Cauldron Falls at West Burton, and a longer walk to Bolton Castle. We found the cottage to be comfortable, including plenty of cooking utensils, good stove and a reasonable-size fridge. There was plenty of hot water for the comfortable...
