"I thought the hotel property was very nice plus the location was amazing being so close to the restaurants and shops. I'm from Iowa City so it was nice to be able to stay somewhere familiar. The pool/pool area was a little small but the hot tub was great and my kids did enjoy the pool. Breakfast had a lot of options but was very busy. Our room was perfect for the 6 of us and even had room for a few friends to hang out since we were celebrating birthdays."

"I have wanted to stay in this hotel since it was built, and finally dii last weekend. The architect and designer did an amazing job of incorporating elements from the buildings past life into its new one. The decor of various equipment and machinery from its milling days remind you of its rich history. As someone who once worked in textiles, it was like a walk back through time. "I came to stay with my 9 year old son just to get out of the house for a night and swim. We had a pretzel appetizer in the River Room on the 9th floor which was absolutely delicious while we watched the sunset and enjoyed the view! The service was amazing as well. The pool was also very clean and inviting with warmer water so you don’t freeze getting in! All in all we highly enjoyed our stay and will definitely be back! "

"Hotel was really nice and the staff was very friendly and helpful. Our only complaint is that the windows desperately need to be cleaned. The exterior of all windows were filthy and covered with spiders. I’m assuming this was a seasonal issue, but definitely needs to be addressed "
