"The staff was helpful and friendly. The view of the ocean from our room was gorgeous. We loved the convenience of the beach. Next time we will get a room with a "balcony". While we felt safe in our room it was a little disconcerting to have people walking by our window less than a foot away. "

"Sandpiper Lodge was clean, comfortable and convenient. Housekeeping was impeccable, staff friendly. The new bedroom unit we occupied was well insulated for sounds, but the heat/ac unit was a bit noisy on high. It's a good value for the money."

"Views are nice on the beach side of hotel. Quiet. One thing, not sure if it was hotel policy but when we arrived I had to take my luggage and stack them on the bell hop cart myself. Other than that great stay. "

"Mickey at the front desk was absolutely amazing! From his vast knowledge of Santa Barbara and its history in general, to his well rounded experience with wine and his recommendations for things to do around the area. Easy access to pool and spa through sliding glass door in room. Back lit mirror in bathroom with a defrost button for a steamed up mirror after a hot shower. Soap, shampoo and lotions made from great quality. Breakfast in the morning was phenomenal. Service was quick, staff is attentive and pleasant. Highly recommend and plan on returning in the near future. Thank you guys very much."
