"Family and friend gathering. 9 adults over 50 years old. We enjoyed being on the Themes and spent our time outside. The house is not meant for that many adults even though it has 5 bedrooms. Many of the beds were too short and one room is clearly a children’s room. The place needs some TLC on furniture, rugs, beds (sag in middle) and outdoor cleanliness…lots of spider webs. But that also adds to the charm. Things to note. One room has up and down steps to bathroom and a very narrow opening. We...

"A lovely cottage very well presented. Matthew was really helpful and we enjoyed sitting in the garden with a barbecue and glass of wine in the warm evening sunshine after a day at the races. The low ceilings took a little getting used to but added to the quirkiness and atmosphere of the cottage. The downstairs shower we shared was excellent with plenty of hot water for everyone.
