"My room was really good, but I didn't realise that there was no elevator in the building. This was fine for me as I was able to carry my suitcase up the stairs to the top level. However, my brother and his wife had major difficulties in walking up so many stairs. Fortunately, they were able to change their room for one on a lower level, which was much better for them. Maybe, in the hotel description, it should be noted that there are several flights of stairs in the main building and, if that...

"What a lovely quiet area with lots of walks but close to towns and villages with things to do and see. The grounds were well looked after and usable by our dog as was a good part of the restaurant. The 2 crowning glories though were: the food which was of a high standard being well cooked and presented and the staff who were really welcoming and friendly throughout, knowlegeable about the food on offer and well paced with the ordering and delivery of the food.
