"We completely enjoyed staying at this very tastefully remodeled home. The house was very clean, excellent location - near everything. Beds were super comfortable. "I stayed here with my partner for two nights and we loved it! The place was very clean and it looked like some of the window screens had been recently replaced and new air conditioners were put in.(It was less than 70° while we were there so we didn’t need to use them though!) We loved the location on the island and it had some spectacular views. The neighborhood is extremely quiet and peaceful. Definitely a very secluded area, but not too far of a drive to a local grocery store to get...

"This camp was perfect for our moose hunt. You can literally see the access road to the North Maine Woods from the driveway. Plenty of parking, and great view of Portage Lake. The camp was exceptionally clean and well furnished. Beds were comfortable. Would absolutely stay here again."

"It was just what we needed for our visit. We were traveling for my mother-in-law’s burial at New Sweden Cemetery and this house worked out just perfect. It’s very cozy and had everything you need for the end of your day. If we ever get back to Maine we will definitely use this property again. Beautiful area."

"From the moment you arrive you know what a special place it is. The pictures do not do it justice...it is one of those situations where the place is actually prettier than the pictures. You will not be disappointed. The hosts are excellent,super friendly and very easy to communicate with. The house is cozy, warm and well equipped, and the location is just amazing. "We loved our stay at the cabin! The Hucks hospitality made our stay exceptionally enjoyable! They gave excellent restaurant recommendations and we visited the lake bog they also recommend. We also enjoyed walking through the trails on the property. We were disappointed that oddly we seen no wildlife on the property not even a squirrel or rabbit. We loved our stay and appreciate how the Hucks made our stay so very much enjoyable. "
