"The hotel is older but well kept. Rooms are comfortable, and have a very long shared walk out balcony, with a magnificent view of the ocean. There’s a main floor restaurant which serves a variety of dishes and a variety of drinks from the bar. There’s a patio just outside the restaurant which provides a view of the ocean. There’s a decent help yourself continental breakfast. The area is lush with jungle like plants and trees and other restaurants nearby. The dollar value was very good for the area and the accommodations. The drive was under half an hour from the city and was enjoyable along the winding paved road. "

"A seaside motel, very cute and the staff were wonderful. Perhaps a bit musty in the room , but you are at the seaside. "

"Staff went out of their way to accommodate our late check in and room requirements. They helped us sort out a few minor problems we had with transport and money. I especially loved the lego display in their foyer."

"This place has a great location just a block from the Sumner esplanade and walking distance to a dozen or so places to eat. The unit was spacious, functional, and safe. We had plenty of space for all of our stuff and it was a great place to relax and enjoy our time here. It's a bit dated (especially the carpet) but overall was a good place to stay. "
