"Erica was very helpful when we arrived and gave us some great local information. The room was lovely and decorated to a high standard. Lovely outside space to sit. Very peaceful. Had a great night sleep in a comfortable bed. I wish we could have stayed longer in beautiful Akaroa. Would definitely recommend. Thank you"

Blythcliffe

3.5 star property
9.6 out of 10, Exceptional, (25)
"Where to begin? Blythecliff is not your typical overnight. A charming great house with three acres of grounds and forest dotted with art, a croquet lawn and resident doves. And an attentive staff. Breakfast was all we could wish for. Try Lesley’s Award Winning Orange Marmalade! Our only regret is that we couldn’t stay longer. HIGHLY RECOMMEND. "

SEACLUSION: Great Water Views, Wonderful for Big Families & Groups

9.2 out of 10, Wonderful, (124)
"The house was perfect for our family holiday. Unfortunately the weather was terrible and we only had one sunny day. The games room was a blessing. Driveway was challenging with a boat but we managed. A good time was had by us all. "

Children's Bay Exclusive - Akaroa

9.4 out of 10, Exceptional, (29)
"A beautiful modern home with gorgeous views! It would have been nice to stay longer. 2 small issues - we had a cold night and a few extra blankets would have been nice. Also, we're filtered coffee drinkers, there was no instructions on how to use the Nescafe machine, and no viable filter coffee option. I recommend a simple French press and instructions for the machine! Thanks! "
