Two major ski resorts within 30 min distance makes this the absolute perfect place to stay. "We were a group of two families and the bedrooms upstairs and on the lower level allowed each family some privacy with lots of shared space on the main floor. The location was awesome, felt remote but was about 5mins into town and close to Plattekill Mt for skiing. There were a few missing essentials for cooking like serving and mixing bowls but the espresso machine was top notch. "

The only thing we would like to remind the other guest is that please bring lots and lots of bottled water since the tap water is slimy and you need bottle water for both cooking and drinking."

"This home is a beautiful refuge. Lots of windows offer breathtaking views and colorful sunsets. The house is well-furnished and equipped. The owner was accessible and invested in our comfort in his home. Renters should understand, however, that the primary bedroom is in a loft, with no shades or drapes to cover the windows. If all that light/exposure would be a sleep issue for other renters, they should bring a good sleep mask. "

"This was our second stay at this house. For being a somewhat smaller house, it has all your need for a ski weekend. Our family of 6 did just fine with sleeping arrangements and amenities to cook meals and just relax. It’s so close to the hunter downtown area and ski area. Very convenient. "
