"Massively convenient if the reason for your stay is needing to visit Loughborough university. And although it is on campus, you feel separate to the students and the hotel area seemed very quiet. Reception area lovely (as were the complimentary cookies on reception). Room great. Appreciate the small fridge which was well used. Bed very comfortable. Bathroom fine, though bath surround looked slightly dated, and some people may prefer a walk-in shower rather than a shower over bath. I’m guessing not all rooms have a bath in the en-suite though. Overall the stay was great."

"Staff brilliant. 1. Pity about lack of signs NOT displayed. We wasted several minutes looking for our room and then looking for the staircase down to the Ground floor. 2. On arriving in Loughborough, we missed the poorly displayed Hotel sign and drove round in circles, eventually asking a local resident for directions."

The bar area is lovely and delicious cocktails too, staff were really nice. Check in was amazing and the rooms are lovely, nicely decorated. We visited for the ice hockey this time.
