"We had a lovely one night stay in the Crown Hotel, great king size bed and hot shower for after a long day of walking. There was complimentary continental breakfast which was a nice surprise, and the rooms were well stocked with tea, coffee and toiletries. Amazing location in Callander, surrounded by beautiful landscapes and ample walks of varying lengths. "

"Wow! We highly recommend this location! Easy to walk to the castle and other sites. The breakfast was as good as the bed. Highly recommend the haggis which was delicious and locally sourced. Laura was an incredible host!"

"Great location. Easy walk to train/bus. Cool medieval/castle property. Nicely furnished. Small but comfortable room. Ensuite bathroom very nice and all immaculately clean. Host/owner is very friendly. I ordered the light breakfast which was excellent in a beautiful dining room. There is also a very pretty back courtyard. I was able to store luggage for the day."

"We loved the Riverside room. Beautiful view of the river. The room was very clean and comfortable. We slept in so we didn’t get a chance to have the breakfast, but it looked like it was going to be amazing. The host are incredibly friendly and accommodating. They even gave us some extra cookies that Brian had made.! "

"When we arrived there was no heating on and no hot water. The outside temperature was 6C and the cottage was colder than that. Eventually someone arrived to put on the heating and light the wood burning stove. Even with that there was no way the cottage would be warm for at least 12 hours. We decided to leave and returned the key. Apart from the cold, there was nothing welcoming about the cottage. There was no welcoming pack or instructions. "It is a cozy B&B centrally located in Stirling. Our room was spacious enough for a family of four. Communication was clear and timely. We enjoyed our stay and would recommend this place to other visitors. "

"Perfect property for 2 people with dog too. This was our third visit. Very quiet spot but in the middle of town so easy access to everything. Lots of great shops, pubs & eateries, the locals are very friendly! Good bus links to other towns & the busy city of Stirling with more visitor attractions if you dont want to drive. "
