"This is a fantastic property. Very spacious, clean and comfortable. Although close to the main road (and easy access to local amenities, walks and beautiful beaches), it is quiet and peaceful. The kitchen is very well stocked and we enjoyed having the pool/ping pong table in the lounge. Would love to return for another stay."

"Wow what a find! This property is wonderful, it really is a bargain price compared to others, perfect location with so much to do in the surrounding areas. The lodge is cleaned to the highest of standards and so homely and comfortable. It had everything we needed. Prior to arrival Louise was great with her communication and on arrival everything was perfect and the guest book was so useful with loads of suggestions for things to do. We had the most wonderful holiday, definitely booking again."

"There were issues with obtaining the checkin details in a timely manner. Property only superficially clean set in a not very pleasant location with an appalling access road. The boiler was extremely smelly and there were no instructions for the heating. Towels were totally inadequate in this day and age."

"Fantastic experience from start to finish. Clift Hill is a beautiful and spacious location that easily accommodated our 23-large hen party. "This was our first time to the Dumfries area and we had a great time exploring the forests and coastline. Also took the kids for a day at Mabie Farm Park. Everyday it was a pleasure to come back to Woodedge Lodge and get in the hot tub. The lodge was lovely, had everything we needed for a great long weekend. Nigel was friendly and great communication. Lovely gardens and beach for the kids, a bit rocky but kids loved looking in rock pools.
