The area was noisy (loud music which we were not sure whether it was coming from the hotel or elsewhere) and the hotel is on a main road so our sleep was disturbed if we kept the balcony door open. In the end we decided to close it to have some peace but we were sweltering. I tried to call reception to ask about...

"L’appartement est splendide et fonctionnel. Les chambres à l’étage sont un grand atout surtout quand on a un bébé. La vue est magnifique. On s’est énormément ressourcé. Il faut une voiture par contre, c’est mieux, Annecy a 20 min. "

"The property was well-presented and equipped, looking out on the lake and the mountains beyond from the living area. The bedrooms opened out onto the main Albertville to Annecy Road, and so were quite noisy (with the back balcony doors open) from about 6am. Fine in autumn and winter, not so good on a hot summer night, I would suspect. It was a base from which to explore elsewhere: Duingt itself isn't a tremendously lively place, and not very well served by restaurants. Not having a cafe...
