"This home is right on the main street of Parkdale, OR, and is just a few minutes off the highway that takes you from Hood River up to Mount Hood. There is a hot tub on the property (in the backyard, with a great view of Mount Hood!) but the cover to the hot tub is broken and difficult to maneuver if you are by yourself. I contacted the property manager a few times about it but no one came to fix the issue during my stay. I did not cook at the house, so I cannot say much about the kitchen, but...

"My family and I stayed 2 nights at the cabin. It was perfect for us. Close to Mt Hood Meadows, night sledding and lovely walks in the woods. A couple of maintenance issues which I’m sure will be resolved for next guest."

"Great location in Govt camp- walkable to everything you need. The home for that price- debatable. Managed by vacasa so it feels like a hotel- an overpriced one. The climate control was out and they didn't alert us until after we booked. Grateful to the local gentleman who was able to come bring us a heater."

"Came up for my daughter's ski races and enjoyed a lovely stay at the Grand Lodge Collins Lake Resort. The unit we rented was on the first floor with a view of the lake behind it! Unit was perfect for our needs. Great location and perfect place to stay."

"12 family members stayed here for a wedding near Hood River. Plenty of beds & bathrooms to accommodate our group. House s a little outdated, but we thoroughly enjoyed our stay with the ping pong & pool table in the garage. Didn’t have enough time to enjoy the hot tub or the beautiful back yard, which would make for an incredible game of Bocce. View is absolutely stunning!"

"Great location, cool history but needs an updating. The heater barely kept up at 23 outside. I understand the price reflecting the size of the house but it is really outdated and lots of things are ready to fall apart or fail. Washing machine hose leaks, gas fireplace doesn’t work. Kitchen hanging on by a thin thread. But cost, and fulfilled its purpose which was a place to stay in Mosier. "

"I liked the cabin charm of this house it it’s right in the middle of government camp. You can drive right up to the door to drop off/pick up which is very convenient. It was also easy to keep warm and the wood stove was a nice amenity. We enjoyed the charm of this place. The cabin is very small which is cozy, but hard to imagine more than 4 people using the living area—even that was a tight squeeze — so unclear how the occupancy of 6 makes sense. There was a key to a “wood box” that we were not...
