"We love the Thunderhead Lodge and have stayed in many of the rooms. We love this place. The only thing I could say negative is that the pool is no longer 102 degrees. The heater doesn’t work as well and they’ve tried to fix it but it isn’t working still. It was about 92 degrees according to the owner who’s in a law suit with the company that fixed it. So hopefully they get it back to where it was because if it’s windy outside at all during the winter, it’s unbearable to go in."

"We had a wonderful stay in Mosier - complete with a holiday wreath, tree, and lights. We loved the train that came by throughout the day. We were headed to Hermiston; Mosier was a nice half-way point on our short road trip. Breakfast goods and a warm welcome were much appreciated "touches" to our stay. "

"We had a stay here with our adult children and their significant others. We have one person in a wheelchair and I'm happy to say this is ADA accessible. Only complaint in regard to ADA is the bathroom for ADA would be easier if they didn't have a door on it or have a shower chair for that person to be able to take a shower. Other than that this place is spacious, very roomy and clean. Kitchen had everything we needed, same with the bathrooms. Beds were comfortable and the location is excellent....

"My daughter and I stayed here while participated in the 2024 Columbia Gorge Marathon (her) and half (me). This was the perfect “home” to base from. Close to the event, but not right in the middle of it all. In fact the marathon course passed right by it. The location was very clean and stocked. The beds were also comfortable and well appreciated. We would absolutely stay here again. "

"The beds are absolutely awful. The master bedroom mattress was like 20 years old and had no structure left. The bunk bed was very unstable/shaky, so we could not use the top bunk and the person in the middle bunk couldn't move without waking up the person on the bottom bunk; and it also had uncomfortable mattresses. The location is great. Next time I'll stay in another chalet. On the surface it was clean, but it needs a deep clean under furniture, etc. It also needs a few more kitchen...
