"Lovely hotel with good facilities and friendly staff. The room was very clean and comfortable. After arriving on a late flight I Was a little bit disappointed that we couldn’t get something to eat in the restaurant at 10.30 even though the closing time displayed was 11pm."

"The reception and restaurant staff were very friendly and helpful. Specially Ms Anna Wong from the restaurant. She is always smiling and goes around to ask the guests they are ok. The room we stayed is very clean and spacious and we enjoyed our stay very much . The only setback the hotel is that guests can smell the foul air from the nearby Filipino market Once you stand outside the lobby. Because of the hotel is across the market, the surrounding area gets pretty busy . May not be pleasant if you are on holiday. "

"Nice spacious rooms and good views over the sea. Staff very helpful and friendly. Only slight negatives was tgat the bars clided at 10pm which is a littke early, and some of the "hot" breakfast items were not kept that hot. But overall thoroughly recommend the Grandis when staying in Kota Kibabalu and we would not hesitate to stay again."
