"The staff, especially John (I think the owner) was sooooo sweet and kind and helpful. Look, this place is not the Ritz Carlton, but I’d stay here again just simply because of how kind and nice the staff was. You can tell that they are family run and operated and that they try their best with what they’ve got. And location and price can’t be beat! If you’re looking for a retro hotel/motel experience that won’t disappoint, I HIGHLY recommend! :) I’ll be staying here again."

"The top 3 for Whitehall Houston during my stay. 1) The staff is WONDERFUL!! Very professional, greeted me every time I entered the lobby area and valet station. If I called with a request it was given the attention required at that time, no delay. 2) The appearance in the lobby, loading area, and hotel restaurants had modern finishes that gave hints of upscale and comfort. 3) The hotel had a peaceful atmosphere; very quiet but inviting.
