"I was there for a trade show. I felt very safe with the security at the doors. Staff was extremely helpful. Building is absolutely beautiful! Must visit the vault in the lower level. Baltimore itself really needs to step up the care of their sidewalks which were covered in ice and snow. Sometimes it was safer to walk in the street which isn't the best thing.I have 2 complaints which can't be addressed by staff. This is the first hotel I've ever stayed in that didn't have a sheet of restaurants or places to visit. I would have loved to have had a list of restaurants. The other is the lighting in the rooms is dim. Fancy lighting but not practical. The desk light was tiny and since i was working at night, opening the curtains wasn't an option. The post lamp was the brightest but on the other side of the room and required you to physically walk over to it and shut it off. The bathroom wasn't the brightest either especially when you are putting on makeup. I was in an accessible room which was fine but the vanity in the bathroom or shelving would have helped to put my brush and make up there. The vanity barely had room for my toothbrush and toothpaste. But I would stay there again for the convenience."
