"All of our guests for the Hen weekend made the weekend fun and the local cimmunity were really friendly. Unfortunately I had a few issues with the host, Chris. I had requested an early entry by 2 hours and in short was told yes for £50 payment as he had to arrange someone to be at the house. After a further 4 messages to Chris which were not answered I had to phone him and was reduced to tears by his hostility. He bumped up payment to £100 claiming I left it to last day to confirm this. I had...

"Our only issue is that the house description lists a child’s bed. I mistakenly thought that would be a bed as we needed a separate bed for one of our children. However we realised the “child’s bed” was a fold up mattress to put in the floor. Can I suggest you amend this on your website. I wouldn’t have booked this if I’d known in advance. "

"Just returned from an 8 night stay at this amazing cottage. I highly recommend it to anyone looking for a little taste of Scotland and a quiet beautiful retreat from everyday life! The cottage kitchen was lovely as well as having plenty of living space...the bedrooms were also great and comfortable for all the members of our party. The owner was very pleasant and greeting us our first day and awoke very early on our departure day to say goodbye!! I would definitely stay there again!!"

Good overnight stay

"Overall my room was spacious, nicely decorated with a very comfortable bed. Tea, coffee, biscuits in the hospitality tray. The publix parts of the hotel are lovely and the restaurant staff were really nice. Only negatives were that bathroom needed few bits of maintenance although again it was very spacious and clean. The duvet cover on my bed has a rip in the seam, just brought down the standard a bit. That said I will book again without hesitation. "
