"The views from our cabin were wonderful and perfect for a morning coffee or an evening glass of wine. The cabin was clean and comfortably furnished, better than the pictures. It is a bit of a drive to Fredericksburg and local attractions, but to us it was worth it. The proprietor is a lovely person. We would definitely stay again! "

"The house was small and just the size we needed. Check in was at 4 but it was closer to 4:15 by the time we got in. Landscapers were there and left a huge pile of leaves that blocked the entire front of the house. Had to park next door the entire weekend. Part if the reason for choosing this location was the fireplace option since its January and cold at night. There was no firewood available to use as stated in the post. Other than those 2 things the stay was great. Id recommended a few more...

Once we checked in, I noticed the hot tub water was cold and not in good condition, so I called and texted the contact person, Ashley. She told me the hot tub was not working and I “should’ve been notified sooner.” She said she would be sure I got a refund. I have never received a refund, even after checking back with Ashley. "The cabin was very cozy and rustic! Awesome place to stay if you want to feel like you stepped back in time, but still enjoy some of today's comforts. The bathroom shower was a little cramped for me at 6'2" and there was street noise at night, but it was Friday night. I would definitely stay here again, though!
