Normally, I'd opt for the walk-in shower, but with a stunning bathtub raised on a platform in the centre of the room how could I resist? The staff were exceptional; warm, friendly, and attentive, with lovely personal touches like a handwritten note from housekeeping. And the food? Divine. Arriving late, I treated myself to a mouth watering bread and butter pudding in my room - the perfect sweet ending to a long day. I'm a particular about breakfast, and my eggs were spot on. As someone who regularly travels for business, I can confidently say I've found a little slice of heaven in The George Hotel. This isn't just a stopover anymore - it's my go-to.
