"We have stayed here before so no real surprises. Still the same lovely view. Staff are friendly and helpful. Breakfast on the first day was a bit disappointing as the bacon was dry (kept warm). Second morning was a great improvement. Comfortable room apart from a temporary heating failure , quickly resolved. "

"Just 3.5 hours drive from Folkstone this well equipped holiday appartement with 3 large bedrooms is the place to stay. Bathrooms are up to todays standard and wunderful fitted for this place. The very friendly owners do make you feel welcome at this beautiful manor where King George the third also enjoyed to stay while visiting the Dorset coast in the 18th century. You can take hikes in the countryside up to the coast or just read your book at the fireplace. Enjoy!"

"This cottage was perfect for a long weekend with my son and his dog. It is cosy, comfortable and has a lot of character. There was everything we needed for example the kitchen was well supplied with utensils, coffee pot etc, and the place was spotlessly clean. It’s in a nature reserve with wildflower meadows, lovely setting."
