When we showed up without our luggage they rang the resort's boutique manager and she came in, opened up the boutique, and helped my family shop for clothing to hold us over until our luggage arrived. The recently renovated resort was beautiful and its location was convenient to the airport and nearby shopping/dining in Kralendijk."

"If you want peace, quiet and relaxation this is the villas for you. Definitely rent a car, but if you don't the local taxi drivers are AMAZING- very friendly and attentive. The pool and view of sunsets are great. If you LOVE taking pictures this is a great atmosphere for some colorful pictures. My Husband and I enjoying our stay. We would definitely stay here again. "

"Bonaire We loved our 8-day vacation in Bonaire at the Grand Windsock. We stayed in a beautiful, well-equipped 2-bedroom, 2-bath villa with private pool. The villa was next to the airport so we certainly were aware of planes taking off and landing (and the occasional slight whiff of jet fuel) but there are not many flights in and out of the island each day so we had no issue with it. We actually enjoyed seeing the planes coming and going. Our villa was clean and comfortable with a lovely in-ground pool and full-sized fridge with water and ice maker being two of our favourite features. Unlike what we read on this site and heard from the Grand Windsock itself our second bedroom was unlocked - very convenient for a place to stow extra luggage and set up a place to pack when we sadly needed to return home. It seems like a small thing for the resort to leave it unlocked but we certainly appreciated it and seeing it left open on our arrival made us feel valued and welcome. Housekeeping and pool service were as promised once during our stay and left things sparkling clean. Since we had our own pool we only swam in the main pool once but it was very nice too. While staff were kind and friendly, service is “island time” so adjust your expectations here and elsewhere on the island. We walked over to the ocean club most evenings to watch the sunset and also to snorkel a few times. They have quite a few parrotfish that hang out near the stairs but take care when the water is rough s"

"This was a beautiful property with excellent beach access. We snorkeled right in front of our villa and could swim to Bachelors Beach, where snorkel tours moor. The property itself is absolutely lovely. Aside from the four large bedrooms there is a nice combination of large and small seating areas, so you could always find a quiet spot or a place to join the group. The kitchen has everything you need. We even used the barbeque to grill the Wahoo that we caught on a fishing charter. The infinity pool is lovely and outdoor shower made it easy to rinse off the sand and salt before relaxing in the pool. We were lucky enough to have rainbows over the water several mornings, and the sound of the waves at night just lulled us to sleep. The property manager was incredibly helpful with shopping, car rental, and reservations. She was always available to help with any questions about the house or the island in general. Don’t hesitate to book Kas Popchi! "

"Everything was great there, the location was right across from the beach where you could go snorkeling and swimming, dive centre, restaurant and car rental all in one place Just take OFF as there are sand flies that bite "

"Property is remodeling entirely, great and clean pools, fabulous beachfront property. Needs to be cleaner. I highly suggest Divi Flamingo for the position and beach. I really enjoyed it!"
