"Resort Bonaire Review – One-Bedroom Apartment During my recent trip to Bonaire, I stayed at Resort Bonaire in a one-bedroom apartment. Overall, the stay was comfortable and well-suited for a dive-focused trip, though there were a few quirks worth noting. Room & Amenities The apartment featured two twin beds, which could be pushed together to form a king. Since I was traveling with a friend, we opted to separate them for added space and comfort. The room itself was clean and functional, with enough storage for our belongings. One of the highlights was the fully equipped kitchen, which included a dishwasher—a great convenience for longer stays. The ability to prepare our own meals was a plus, especially given the limited dining options nearby. One downside, however, was the air conditioning setup. While the bedroom had AC, the living, dining, and kitchen areas did not. This made those spaces noticeably warmer, especially during the day. It would have been nice to have a cooling option for the entire apartment. Dining Option Resort Bonaire offers a single meal each night for a very reasonable price. The catch? You have to get there early because they often sell out. The rotating menu ensures variety, but since there’s only one option per night, it may not suit everyone’s tastes. "Buddy Dive Resort is top notch and works hard to make sure you have everything you want or need. I am impressed with how helpful everyone has been! The shuttle from Buddy Dive Resort was outside and waiting for me even though the airplane arrived about an hour early. The receptionist helped carry some of my bags to my room, and a tech dive specialist made sure I had everything I need to dive my rebreather. He also was my dive orientation instructor. The room and property are beautiful and well maintained."

"I did not spend much time on the property besides sleep but if you're someone who is looking to explore the island this is the perfect option. The room was clean and it's in a good central location. They provide a towel that you can use to take to the beach. The restaurant on the property was delicious for a convenient breakfast on dinner (price not included). They have a parking lot for guests if you rent a car as well! I would definitely come back."

"Excellent place to stay for both location and comfort. Very well maintained property efficiently run by the on-site owners. Very safe and quiet. The good sized pool, landscaping and attracted songbird population helps create a lovely oasis type feel. Short walk to shopping and multitude of good restaurants. Will have no hesitation in returning to Djambo on our next visit."
