Houmas House Plantation and Gardens

4.0 star property
9.2 out of 10, Wonderful, (128)
"What a treat! This is a place you come back to and just enjoy the grounds. Rooms are spacious and clean with beautiful landscaping surrounding and a quick walk to the on-site restaurants, gardens, and museums. Free breakfast and no pet fees were a huge plus! Would recommend trying to stay in a room that is not on River Rd if street noise bothers you. The road is quite busy and you can hear vehicles driving by at all hours. "

"The cabin was very clean and well stocked and beautifully decorated. The countertops are amazing. The host was quick to answer our question as to where the nearest place for rubber boots was, since we didn’t know we needed some. The restaurant nearby had really good food. Great place to relax!!"
