It gives off this vibe like someone really cared when it started, the rooms and furnishings are really nice, but then completely gave up, as the details are cheap and staff is tragic. The checkin lady made me feel like her day’s worst burden, then said that the restaurant only sells frozen pizza and if we want something edible, we can drive elsewhere (in an establishment named Hotel Restaurant Riccoty). "Advertising the hotel as pet-friendly and sneaking in a 15,90 EUR extra fee per night afterwards is outrageous. Total nightly fee of EUR 90 EUR for a quick driving pit stop is very poor value compared to other road hotels in France and Italy within a day's drive, which were both cheaper and much nicer (room, beds, bathrooms, surrounding areas...) The area was mediocre, the hotel is in a 'food/restaurant desert', the doors could only be closed by slamming them which meant overnight each time...
