"We thoroughly enjoyed our second visit to Chalets de Joy this year. The property is new, immaculately clean and spacious apartments. We love that the residence has the facilities of a modern alpine hotel, with the space and convenience of your own apartment. For winter ski lift access however, it is a 5 minute walk down a relatively steep hill with your ski equipment. We decided to drive down to the gondola instead, which was a little disappointing as we were not expecting this. "

"Being that my stay was in June, it was very difficult to find transport to and from without my own car. Limited front desk hours (ability to check in) also made this more difficult to coordinate. The beds/pillows were not comfortable, BUT, the space was excellent. I was there to hike and enjoy the scenery and I did. I'd recommend being there in July/August if you want more people and stores open, or as I was told, in winter, when there is a free shuttle going to other villages. Overall, I loved...

"Superbe appartement haut de gamme de 3 chambres. Très bien équipé, très bien insonorisé, au pied des pistes. Place de parking en sous-sol, très grand casier à ski, et tous les services MGM (piscine, sauna, hammam, salle de fitness...). "

"The single bed mattresses and supplied pillows were very worn and uncomfortable. There was no cushion backing to one side of the table area, making it very uncomfortable to use. Our room was directly above the ski locker which was very loud. The air inside our accommodation was very dry so we had to take measures to increase the humidity at night. "Beautiful setting, quiet, ski in/ski out access was great. Wonderful facilities to enjoy after a day on the slopes - pool, jacuzzi, sauna and steam. Handy on site shop which had everything we needed for a week of self catering. Friendly and helpful staff. "

"Just returned from a family snowboarding half term holiday. The hotel is in a great location for both the shops and the ski lifts. The spa is very clean and has a great lay out. The rooms are spacious and well equipped. Reception is lovely with great staff who all speak fantastic English. Room had a large balcony too. Towels, soaps and bed linen is all supplied. (you do have to rent robes). Only changes I would have made are- Fold out sofa beds are not very comfy. I would have liked more /...
