"I wish I did a little more research before booking. This lodge used to be a hostel and still seems more like a hostel than lodge. It would be perfect if I wasn’t traveling with a toddler who wants to get into everything. Location is about a five minute drive from the beach. We saw a ton of deer. It’s a little ways to the shipwreck and lighthouse. Great for trail access. Overall, if you’re traveling with small children or folks who overheat easily, maybe not the best place. "I have no concerns with the property it's a very pleasant place to stay with an awesome view of the ocean. This February we had very unusual warm weather it would be nice to have a fan to where we could get some air circulation 72 was not what I thought I was going to get but it did not take away from the quality place so either bring one if the weather is going to be super warm or perhaps one could be purchased and left in the downstairs closet.withawawesome awesome view of the ocean"
