"I had a canal view room which also overlooked the train tracks/ central station. It is exactly what I wanted knowing we would hear the trains at night as my partner has a keen train and ship interest and this was a birthday trip. Saying that the noise was not significant through the night, only after 0600 does the traffic increase. Breakfast options were adequate but not excessive, orange juice was acidic. Very convenient location much is within 20 minute walking distances with many great restaurants and shops as well as canal boat tour operators just steps from the hotel."

The spa facilities were great and the hotel bar had a nice atmosphere with lovely staff. A very short walk into the centre and 5 mins from central station.
