"We have stayed at the “Serene & Quiet Cottage” several times. It is always clean and cozy. We travel with our two golden retrievers and the fenced yard is very nice and convenient for them. Communication with the owner is always quick and easy. And the cottage is conveniently located for wineries, Apple Hill, downtown Placerville or other local sites. You do have to pass the high school to get to and from the cottage from Highway 50 or points north, so plan accordingly. It can be very congested...
